Houston Texans O-Line 2nd Best in the NFL?

Although we are not with unfamiliar with ProFootballFocus.com we are however unfamiliar with their scoring matrix but have confidence that it isn’t to far off base.

Today the boys at Pro Football Focus ran through the top half of the leagues offensive line according to their own rankings. According to their numbers the Houston Texans came in ranked number two overall.

Below you can see Pro Football Focus’s best Houston Texans offensive lineman along with which lineman was their biggest concern.

Best Player: Surprising as it may seem, Chris Myers is right up there with Mangold and Birk as one of the best run blocking centers in the league.

Biggest Concern: After three years in the league, Duane Brown may be competent, but he’s not good enough to deal with the top edge rushers one-on-one.

After being one of the leagues premier offensive teams in the league the Texans O-line surrendered only 25 sacks which ranked fifth fewest in the league.
