2011 NFL Draft: Houston Texans Draft Grade

The Houston Texans selected J.J. Watt, defensive end from Wisconsin

Some of you may know that I am also a contributing writer for a couple other of the fansided family team websites. Namely,  NFLmocks.com is the one I first started with. The family over at NFLmocks.com specialize in a lot of off season topics which happen to be all football related. I always liked to say the guys over there, “All football all the time.”

NFLmocks.com spends a lot of time doing scouting reports leading up to the draft, the upcoming college football season, future NFL prospects from each college team and college football spring games. Immediately after the NFL draft they do a in-depth analysis of each teams draft and final draft grade. I was responsible for the 2011 Houston Texans Draft grade and rundown of how the Houston Texans performed in my opinion and from a fans point of view. It is very hard to grade the current years draft due to not a single player having been involved in any NFL plays at the time of the grades being posted. Nonetheless with a NFL lockout in place and not a lot of off season activity to talk about the draft grades and analysis can be something fun to play around with. So click on the link, check it out and comment on how many of you felt the Texans did in this years draft.
